The village of Saulheim, in the north-eastern fringes of Rheinhessen, is home to the Trörle family estate, which is regarded as one of the best producers in the region. Wine making is a family tradition since the 16th century. Today brothers Christoh and Johannes are leading the winery and focus mainly on Riesling, Silvaner and Pinot Noir as well as Pinot Blanc.
